A fight broke out over loud music from a “boom box” on a Spirit Airlines flight from Baltimore to Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday morning, authorities and an airline official said.
Two women "who appeared to be intoxicated" began playing loud music before Flight 141 landed at LAX, according to Spirit Airlines Spokesperson Paul Berry.

When several passenger requested that the women turn down their music, Berry said, one of the women responded, "What are you going to do?"
The women then raised the boom box up in the air, taunting other flyers, Berry said, noting: "This prompted the second group of customer [sic] to approach the first group and a fight broke out" involving five women.
A fight, that occurred while the flight was taxiing, was captured on video by another passenger.
At the time, flight attendants were strapped in their seats, as federally mandated.
The Spirit Airlines spokesperson says when they saw the fight begin, flight attendants then intervened.
