Package-tossing Amazon delivery driver strikes again

UPDATE:

Tuesday afternoon, Amazon issued the following statement saying the driver had been fired :

“We have high standards for our delivery partners and expect every package to be handled with care. This delivery partner will no longer be delivering on behalf of Amazon and we will continue to work with customers directly on matters related to their package delivery,” Amazon Spokesperson, Ernesto Apreza said.

ORIGINAL STORY:

MIAMI - At this rate, Amazon users in South Florida will be lucky if any of their items arrive intact.

For the second straight day, the same delivery woman for the online giant was caught on video recklessly throwing packages towards a customer's home.

Over the weekend, the woman was seen hurling packages over a security fence at a doctor's home without waiting to see if he would answer the bell.

The second case captured on surveillance video occurred Monday afternoon in Miami near Southwest 47th Street and 157th Avenue.

At the new home, there is no security fence blocking the woman's access to the front door. Instead, the woman, while still seated in the car, simply throws the packages out of her window towards the porch.

A loud thud can be heard when the first package lands on the front driveway.

On Monday, Amazon responded to the first video by saying the company has "high standards for our delivery partners and expect every package to be handled with care."
