The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Jacqueline Caravella, 50.
According to her last known address, Caravella was killed two blocks from her apartment.

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a pickup truck Thursday afternoon on the city's North Side.
Police said a woman tried to cross the 6900 block of San Pedro Avenue around 4:30 p.m. when she was hit by an Ford F-350 pickup.
The woman was trapped underneath the vehicle for some time, police said.
She was eventually transported to University Hospital, where she died, police said.
Traffic was closed in both directions for a while while emergency crews worked on the accident.
