SAPD officer hits pedestrian with patrol car

Victim suffered minor injuries

SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken to the hospital after a San Antonio police officer hit him with his patrol car early Saturday morning. 

The officer said he noticed a woman in the middle of the road and told her to get on the curb. The woman told the officer she was attempting to get a man out of the street after he told her he wanted to get hit by a car.

The officer searched the area for the man and ended up hitting him near the intersection of Potranco and Ingram roads, police said. The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
