Pedestrian struck by car, in critical condition

No charges for driver

A man was taken to the hospital after he was struck by a car early Saturday morning. 

According to San Antonio police, the man darted into the intersection of West Market and Navarro Streets around 2 a.m.

A driver then crashed into the man with his car. Police said the impact sent the man into the windshield of the car.

He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with severe head injuries. 

The driver stopped and is not expected to face any charges.
