Police and Crime Stoppers seek information in cold 2017 homicide case

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in an unsolved fatal shooting from more than a year ago.

Edward Lopez, 19, was shot multiple times on Oct. 1, 2017, at the intersection of Nevada Street and South Pine Street.

According to police, Lopez was walking on South Pine Street when someone in a silver or gray sedan pulled up alongside him and fired multiple rounds. The vehicle then fled on Nevada Street.

Anyone with any knowledge of the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
