Police arrest suspect in Southeast Side apartment shooting

Ricardo Reyna, 44, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have arrested a suspect they say is responsible for shooting a man on the city's Southeast Side.

Ricardo Reyna, 44, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to police Renya shot the victim on April 12 just after 10 p.m. at the New Riviera Apartments in the 200 block of Dollarhide, not far from Pecan Valley Drive.

Police said they talked to the victim at the hospital who identified Reyna as the shooter. The victim said he had gone to visit his wife and as he left, Reyna and another person confronted him before shooting him.
