Cesar Frausto, 31, was shot, killed in June 2015

SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers and San Antonio police are hoping a new appeal for information might bring clues that help them solve a 2015 murder case.

Cesar Frausto, 31, (seen above) was shot dead early one morning in June 2015.

Police said he was standing outside talking to another man in the 1400 block of Cantrell Drive when someone in a car drove up and shot both of them.

The other man was able to get to a home and call for help. Frausto died of his wounds at the scene.

About a month after his murder, police made a plea for information through a Crime Stoppers report which aired on KSAT 12 News.

So far, police have not received any information to lead them to the killer.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP (7867). A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for tipsters with information that helps them solve the case.
