Randall Perkins shot to death at party near UTSA campus

SAN ANTONIO – The reward for information relating to a 2012 cold case slaying has increased to as much as $55,000, San Antonio police said.

Randall Perkins, 20, (pictured above) was shot to death on March 24, 2012, at a party near the University of Texas-San Antonio campus, police said.

The shooting was reported after a fight at the Aspen Heights student apartments in the 6500 block of Hausman Road.

Family said Perkins, a 2010 Smithson Valley High School graduate, was an innocent bystander in the shooting.

Police arrested Leandre Vonzell Hill, 22, soon after the shooting, but charges against Hill were later dropped.

Police have made no further arrests in connection with Perkins’ death, and his family has increased the reward for information leading to an arrest to up to $55,000.
