SAN ANTONIO - A new, walk-up oyster bar is opening at the Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery at the Pearl.
The oyster bar’s soft opening starts Friday with select beers on tap.
“We pride ourselves in providing fresh seafood, so it’s only natural to bring an oyster bar. Guests can feel as though they are having food right off the coast while enjoying the view of Pearl’s campus,” said chef and Southerleigh owner Jeff Balfour.
The grand opening for the new oyster bar is Tuesday.
“We are thrilled to offer our guests something new and fun to our restaurant,” Balfour said.
The oyster bar will have a variety of fresh seafood, including gulf shrimp and caviar, in addition to oysters.
Architect firm Clayton & Little designed the walk-up oyster bar - the same firm that designed Southerleigh’s Pearl location.
