SAPD: Man steals from Goodwill warehouse

Incident occurred May 26 in 1700 block of South San Marcos

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are looking for a man who broke into and stole from a Goodwill warehouse on the city's Southwest Side.

The incident occurred May 26 at the warehouse in the 1700 block of South San Marcos.

According to police, the man first cut the gate and left the location before returning on foot to gain entry. Once inside, the man stole a company truck, a trailer and two zero-turn lawn mowers, police said.

Police said the man was caught on surveillance video carrying a handgun while committing the crime. The truck and trailer were later found abandoned in the 3700 block of San Fernando.

Authorities say in total four crimes were committed: burglary of a building, theft of vehicle, theft of property and criminal mischief.
