Shops at Rivercenter has caught fire 3 times in 16+ months

Tuesday's 3-alarm fire marks third fire since February 2016

SAN ANTONIO – Tuesday's fire at the Shops at Rivercenter was not the facility's first. In fact, since February of 2016, various parts of the mall have caught fire on three occasions -- two of which occurred in the same area.

Each fire appears to be independent of each other and there is no single cause for each.
