A shrinking glacier in Switzerland has revealed the bodies of a couple who disappeared 75 years ago.

There appears to be no foul play, evident by the preserved nature of the bodies which were found encased in ice on the Tsanfleuron glacier.

"It was a mummified man and a woman wearing clothes from the pre-war period," said Glacier 3000 director Bernhard Tschannen.

These two are not the only bodies the glacier has yielded in the past.

Three brothers who disappeared in 1926 were found in 2012, and a man who disappeared in 1954 was found in 2008.
