Suspect brandishes handgun, threatens to shoot victim over bicycle

Incident occurred July 28 in 3100 block of Roosevelt Ave

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers have released an image of a suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery of an individual on the city's South Side.

The incident occurred July 28 around 3 p.m. in the 3100 block of Roosevelt Avenue, not far from South Presa Street.

According to police, the victim had agreed to meet with the suspect to show him a bicycle that he was selling.

That's when, police say, the suspect pulled out a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim if it was not given to him.

The suspect fled the scene with the bicycle, police said.

Anyone with any knowledge of the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
