An arrest warrant affidavit said the victim had been subletting a room in a home in the 7500 block of Standing Oaks. However, the woman who rented the room to him wanted him to leave.
The affidavit said police had been called to the home several times in regards to the issue but were unable to do anything because it was a civil matter.
Officers responded again on July 29 and spoke to the victim who told them he had been robbed of two cell phones.
The affidavit said the victim told them a man with a "claw-like knife," similar to the movie character, "Wolverine," had entered his room and yelled at him to leave. He said the suspect also made a move as though he were going to swing the knife at him.
The victim told police that, on his way out, the suspect grabbed the two cell phones which belonged to him and his son, the affidavit said.
Molina was arrested on a charge of aggravated robbery.
