SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Police Department SWAT team was dispatched Thursday to an apartment complex downtown where a man had barricaded himself inside a bathroom.

Police spokesman Officer Doug Greene said the man and another resident at Soap Works Apartments at 500 N. Santa Rosa got into an argument over a water leak in an upstairs unit.

The man barricaded himself and the SWAT team was called out because the man may be armed.

When management tried to alert the man who lived in the apartment above, police said he began to act erratic and locked himself in the restroom.

Officers found shell casings and bullets on the floor of the apartment, and thought the man was armed.

The situation ended around 3:30 p.m.

Police said the man is not facing any charges right now, but is being evaluated at a mental facility.
