Teen hospitalized, suspect in custody in Northwest Side shooting

Shooting was reported around 11:30 p.m. Sunday near Autumn Vista Drive

SAN ANTONIO – A suspect has been arrested, accused of shooting at two teenagers critically injuring one on the Northwest Side overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.

The shooting was reported around 11:30 p.m. Sunday near Autumn Vista Drive, found not far from De Zavala Road.

Police said the two teens were walking down the street when the suspect in a red Toyota drove up to them, rolled down his window and started firing.

One of the teens was hit twice in the shooting, police said. That teen was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Police stopped the suspect driving the red Toyota in the 6600 block of De Zavala Road and took him into custody.
