TARRANT COUNTY, Texas – A Texas rapper charged in connection with the murder of a San Antonio man apparently had an impromptu photoshoot in his jail cell.
A photo of rapper Tay-K 47 in his jail garb appeared on his Twitter and Instagram pages Tuesday, the same day he was indicted by a grand jury for having a cell phone in jail, the Fort Worth Star Telegram reported.

The rapper, whose real name is Taymor McIntyre, is charged in the 2017 murder of Mark Anthony Saldivar, a 2016 murder out of Mansfield, an aggravated robbery out of Arlington and now, bringing a prohibited item into a correctional facility.
In the photo, McIntyre is seen sitting on the ground in a jumpsuit and jail-issued sliders while gesturing with both hands as if he has his fingers on the triggers of guns. The caption reads, "Live From the Gates of Hell #FreeMe."

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported deputies at the Tarrant County Jail found a cell phone on McIntyre while conducting a pat down on him as he was to be transferred to the county's maximum security jail.
Officials told the Fort Worth publication the 23-year-old rapper was being moved because he got into a fight with another inmate. The Star-Telegram reported officials discovered the phone in a sock that was stuffed into his underwear.
McIntyre reportedly tried to throw the cell phone into a toilet when authorities discovered it and got into a fight with a jail guard.
Having a prohibited item in a correctional facility is a third-degree felony, according to the Texas Penal Code.
According to online records, McIntyre is currently being held at the Tarrant County Lon Evans Correction Center.
