SAN ANTONIO – On a stage in front of employees and media Monday, Mayor Julian Castro endorsed Democratic Sen. Wendy Davis, Dist. 10, for Texas Governor.

Davis even took a ride down a two-story slide housed inside "the castle," as the company calls its workplace.

The senator spoke in front of a crowd of employees following her tour and took and answered questions.

She applauded Mayor Castro for the passing last month of the city's non-discrimination ordinance, which sparked citywide controversy.

A Rackspace representative said, as a company, it is not endorsing any candidate and welcomes a visit by Davis' Republican opponent, Attorney General Greg Abbott.

Davis went on to visit the San Antonio Firefighters Association following her Rackspace stop.
