SAN ANTONIO – The annual Ford Holiday River Parade will take place on the San Antonio River Walk on Nov. 25 with a new Grand Marshal: Silver and Black Give Back.
"We've never partnered with a non-profit before. We've always partnered with an individual," Maggie Thompson, executive director for Paseo Del Rio, said about their new partnership. "They bring so much to our community. They're so loved by our community. "
The parade will also go down a different route, making it longer and providing more places for spectators to sit.
Besides the San Antonio Spurs-partnered nonprofit, the parade will feature decorations, music, costumes and the holiday debut of Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
The theme for this year's parade is Tinsel and Merriment.
