Trio involved in violent auto theft, carjacking ring operating from SA to border

Ramon Mendoza, Jorge Lopez and Emilio Vidales involved

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are on the lookout for two more suspects wanted for their involvement in a major auto theft ring that extends to the Texas-Mexico border.

Police said three men -- Ramon Mendoza (center), Jorge Lopez (left) and Emilio Vidales (right) -- were involved.

Vidales has already been arrested. The trio is linked to numerous armed robberies, carjackings and transportation of stolen vehicles into Mexico.

Police said Mendoza is the mastermind and the group has been working out of San Antonio. They are considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call San Antonio Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP.
