Two arrested in South Bexar County drug bust

Multiple homes were raided on Thursday

SAN ANTONIO – A multi-agency investigation led by the Texas Department of Transportation ends with the arrest of two people.

The Texas Department of Public Safety was assisted by San Antonio police, the Bexar County Sheriff’s and HIDTA, a high intensity drug trafficking task force.

The undercover officers and agents raided multiple homes located on Loop 1604 near Oak Island Drive.

Law enforcement officials say they recovered two guns along with what they called "large amounts of methamphetamine." Officials would not specify on the exact amount of meth seized.
