SAN ANTONIO - Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence stepped off Air Force Two around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The plane at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph was surrounded by security forces including the Secret Service, Air Force, and SAPD.

Pence traveled with the second lady, as well as Congressman Henry Cuellar, Congressman Will Hurd, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Gov. Greg Abbott greeted them on the tarmac.
They immediately headed in a processional straight to Brooke Army Medical Center where they met with victims still recovering from the shooting.
Then they went to Sutherland Springs to meet with other victims' families and law enforcement. Last on the agenda, they will attend a vigil at Floresville High School to honor those killed in the mass shooting.
Air Force Two will remain at JBSA-Randolph until the group gets back to San Antonio from Sutherland Springs and Floresville. The plane is set to fly back to Washington, D.C., at 9 p.m.
