Residents concerned for their safety after armed robbers hit NE Side neighborhood

SAN ANTONIO – A 19-year-old man is facing felony charges as police search for two more suspects they said violently robbed three people at a home on the city's Northeast Side. 
    
The robbery happened early Wednesday morning in the 4000 block of Moana Drive. Neighbors who live across the street from the scene of the aggravated robbery are now worried for their safety.

"Sometimes, I go outside and play basketball. It's going to make me wonder, look around and stuff like that," said Mauro Sierra, a resident who lives nearby. 

Police said one of three victims who were in the house heard the dog barking. They went outside to find Noah Guzman near the garage, as well as another person with a gun inside the garage. 

The man who was inside the garage demanded the victim's property. Instead of handing it over, the two began to fight.

"It's across the street so it's really scary," said Samantha Sierra, a neighbor.

A police report said a woman inside the home heard the commotion and ran to the garage to help.  She called 911. One of the men pointed a gun at her face and demanded she hang up the phone.  

Two of the men then took off, leaving Guzman behind.

Guzman faces three counts of aggravated robbery and his bond is set at $150,000. 

Police are still searching for the other two people involved. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
