AUSTIN, Texas – New video from a parking garage in Austin captures the moment a car fell seven stories to the ground, injuring the woman behind the wheel.
The security camera was at ground level, showing just how tragic the incident could have ended.

The video begins by showing a vehicle backing out of the garage and starting to head the other way.
Seconds later, and as the driver on the ground level is backing up, the car on the seventh floor comes crashing down.
Bystanders are then seen rushing to check on the driver.
This isn't the first time an accident like this has happened at this garage. Last September, a car went over the side and got caught in cables that are meant to keep things like this from happening.
That didn't happen in this accident. Inspectors said there were no defects and are still trying to determine why the cables didn't work this time.
