SAN ANTONIO – Finding parking downtown can be a headache. The city of San Antonio has a plan that it hopes will help out with that.
The city has partnered with Sovereign Services to launch Virtual Valet San Antonio. The city hopes this will be an easy and affordable way to park downtown.

The service features four drop-off locations that will be accessible through a free app called Virtual Valet San Antonio. Once you download the app, you'll be able to request that a driver pick up your vehicle and park it in one of the city-owned garages in the downtown area.
The four designated drop-off locations are at:
- Houston Street, 222 E. Houston St.
--Non-Majestic Theatre show nights: Located in the south curb-cut area on Houston Street directly in front of the Majestic Theatre.
--Majestic Theatre show nights: Located in the south curb-cut area on Houston Street near the Buckhorn Saloon. - Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio, 111 W. Crockett St., #210
--Located in the south curb of Crockett Street just south of the South Bank. - River Walk Street, 502 River Walk St.
--Located in the west curb-cut area directly across from Saltgrass Steak House. - East Crockett Street, 201-209 E. Crockett St.
--Located on the east curb in front of the Menger Hotel.
"It gives us the ability to ease traffic easements and provide an easy parking solution for those who can't find parking," said Sovereign Services Vice President of Operations Chris Rockwell.
Prices will range from $12 to $15. Virtual Valet will be available Thursdays through Saturdays from 5 p.m. to midnight.
