SAN ANTONIO - A woman in her 50s drowned in a pool in the backyard of a home in far north Bexar County, the county Sheriff's Office said.
"At approximately 6 p.m. BCSO was called out to a drowning,” said Rosanne Hughes,” Sheriff’s Office public information officer.
It happened in a new housing development in the 700 block of San Anza, off Borgfeld Drive and U.S. 281.
Hughes said the Sheriff’s Office will conduct a full investigation.
Hughes said the woman who drowned was discovered by her husband. On Sunday, the Sheriff's Office said foul play was not suspected.
Investigators found video that showed Josephine Kostos collapsing and falling into the pool, Hughes said.
The medical examiner has not determined an exact cause of death.
