2 wanted in connection to NW Side murder

Victim indentified as Margarita Natividad

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have identified two people wanted in a murder case that happened on the city's Northwest side early Thursday morning.

The shooting was reported just after 4 a.m. at the Dr. Charles Andrews Apartments in the 4000 block of Medical Drive, found not far from Floyd Curl Drive and Wurzbach Road.

According to police, James Edward Striblin was visiting the home waiting with another man for their girlfriends to come home. Police said Striblin became upset after the women had taken so long to return.

That's when, police said, a physical fight ensued involving him and Priscilla Cueva. The woman who lives at the apartment, Margarita Nativdad, jumped in to protect Cueva, police said.

During the argument Striblin grabbed a rifle from inside the home and shot Nativdad after she pulled out a licensed handgun.

The Cueva and Striblin then ran away from the scene police said, escaping through a hole in the fence.

Striblin is wanted for the alleged murder of Nativdad. Cueva is considered a person of interest. Police believe she is with Striblin and may be in danger.
