SAN ANTONIO – CORRECTION: An early report of a body found inside a barrel have been deemed inaccurate by San Antonio police.
According to SAPD, police were called to a vacant house in the 1700 block of West Craig place around 12 a.m. Thursday after someone walked into the West substation and provided information about a body possibly being in a barrel.

Police said a homicide unit was sent to location, but a body was not located. Authorities found a 55-pound drum and are processing it at this time.
