HOUSTON – Chloe, an 8-year-old Astros fan, has a reason to smile following a stern scolding from a stranger at an Astros game.

Lance McCullers, a pitcher for the Astros, is giving Chloe free tickets to the playoffs after a video of the girl went viral.

Chloe’s mother, Monica Beaver, posted a video to Facebook showing a woman turning around from the row in front of the family and telling Chloe, “Enough.”

"I didn't realize what was said and my daughter wouldn't tell us. I didn't even realize I got it on video until after I posted it and someone else told me. Trust me, after realizing this morning I was crushed because I obviously should’ve known,” Beaver wrote as part of an edited post.

Beaver said Chloe suffers from disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, which means she doesn’t comprehend emotions greater than that of a toddler.

Chloe refused to cheer for the rest of the game because she was afraid to get in trouble by the woman, according to Beaver.

"Chloe, don’t you EVER stop cheering! I would love for you to cheer us on, as LOUD as you can, during ALDS game 1 in MMP," McCullers said as part of a tweet.

🤬🤬🤬😭😭😭😞😞😢😭 this is my 8 year old daughter, Chloe. She has attended 3 games this past week with her family! What is sad about this whole thing is Chloe has DMDD (disruptive mood dysregulation disorder) which pretty much means she cant comprehending emotions greater than that of a toddlers emotions... She was cheering and "distracting the other team" this woman in the row in front of her told her "enough" because she was too loud. This poor baby shut down. Completely defeated and refused to cheer the remainder of the game (5 innings) in fear she would get in trouble by this lady again! She is a HUGE Altuve fan and has been there trying to cheer her home team on! And now she may not want to go back. This was a big step for her and her family. To find an outlet for her to positively express herself and now because of a stranger that may have been ruined! Edit* I didnt realize what was said and my daughter wouldnt tell us. I didnt even realize I got it on video until after I posted it and someone else told me. Trust me, after realizing this morning I was crushed because I obviously shouldve known.
