ACS seizes 83 dogs living in 'deplorable conditions'
Dogs taken last week from home off Ray Ellison Drive
SAN ANTONIO – Animal Care Services seized 83 dogs whom officials said were living in "deplorable conditions."
The dogs were seized last week at a home off Ray Ellison Drive, ACS spokeswoman Lisa Norwood said.
"They apparently lived their lives in plastic crates stacked one on top of the other," Norwood said.
Norwood is asking the community to help find homes for the dogs.
Pictures of the dogs are available on the ACS Adoptable Pets Facebook page.
Residents can visit the ACS facility from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends at 4710 State Highway 151.
The pets are available for adoption for $25.
The adoption fee includes pet's sterilization, vaccinations and registered microchip ID.
