"They apparently lived their lives in plastic crates stacked one on top of the other," Norwood said.

Norwood is asking the community to help find homes for the dogs.

Pictures of the dogs are available on the ACS Adoptable Pets Facebook page.

Residents can visit the ACS facility from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends at 4710 State Highway 151.

The pets are available for adoption for $25.

The adoption fee includes pet's sterilization, vaccinations and registered microchip ID.
