SAN ANTONIO - Oldest bakery in Texas stops by the show!
Century of Success
100 years of successful business often times means a company has been willing to make major changes and adjust to the new climate of their market. Other times it means a company simply found what works and stuck with it, Naegelin's Bakery is the latter. Found in New Braunfels they've enjoyed 100 years of business and are the oldest bakery in the great state of Texas.
Part of that success is due to the fact that their delicious goodies taste the same today as they did the day they opened. One of those goodies is their massive Apple Strudel, coming in at well over a foot in length it's a big one. Owner Ross Granzin stopped by the studio to show Mike and Fiona how the big pastry is made.
Though baked goodies are their specialty Naegelin's Bakery does indeed offer even more. Kolaches and even breakfast tacos are on the menu as well. If you would like to stop by to try it for yourself head up to New Braunfels, in downtown near The Square anytime between Monday-Saturday 6:30am-5:30pm.
