Peach Cobbler

A recipe from Burg's Corner in Stonewall



  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flower
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • Peaches, sliced


  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt butter in a dish.
  • Mix sugar, flour, and baking powder in a bowl. Add milk.
  • Pour mix into baking dish with melted butter.
  • Spread fresh (or frozen) peaches on top of mix along with their juice.
  • Bake in oven for 30 minutes, or until done.
