SAN ANTONIO – If you have a toddler at home, it may be time to start thinking about preschool.
“Early childhood education is really important,” said Sarah Baray, CEO of Pre-K 4 SA. “Pre-K sets the foundation for later learning.”
According to an independent study, students at Pre-K 4 SA exceeded the national norm in math, cognitive and literary skills at the end of the school year.
After a year of preschool, “they’re more than ready for kindergarten,” Baray said.
Pre-K 4 SA is open to all children in San Antonio who will be 4 by Sept. 1, 2017.
There are four Pre-K 4 SA locations in San Antonio, and each location has 500 openings per school year.
Baray says half of these openings are full, so now is the time to apply.

Enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year ends on June 1.
