RECIPE: Grilled Onion Guyere Burgers

Tony's Fresh Ground Grilled Onion Gruyere Burgers 

Wow...try saying that three times fast. Chef Gaye Sandoz from Tony Chachere's shows how to make this delicious recipe perfect for tailgating and even for a quick dinner.

Start off with 1 lb chuck roast cut into 2 inch pieces in food processor

add 1/2 lb sirloin steak cut into 2-inch pieces to food processor

Grind Meat in processor until the right consistency is attained

Add 1/4 cup Tony Chachere's beef or burger 30 minute marinade

Add 1 tsp  Tony Chachere's bold seasoning

Grind it all up into food processor

Form your hamburger patty meat (place thumb in the middle of the patty to make a hole) 

Add it on the grill or pan fry (3 1/2 minutes on each side)

Add Gruyere Cheese

Lightly Toast Buns

Add Mayonnaise, Dijon Mustard, Ketchup, Lettuce, and Tomato (recommended)

Add Bacon Jam

4 slices double smoked bacon, chopped small 
1/2 cup Red Onion
1 teaspoon Tony Cachere's Bold Seasoning 

Render Bacon over medium heat with onions and seasoning
3 tsp Port wine 
Add port wine and reduce until thick.
