Have you registered to vote?

Oct. 9 is last day to register to vote in the Nov. 6 general election

SAN ANTONIO – Have you registered to vote in the 2018 November general election?

AARP is encouraging voters to be active in this election season by making a difference with their vote.

This election season touches on critical issues like Medicare, Social Security, support for family caregivers and prescription drug costs.

"Four years ago in the midterm elections only 28% of the voters in Texas participated in the election," said John Vasquez, AARP volunteer. "We want to see that number rise."

Tuesday, Oct. 9 is the deadline to register to vote in order to vote in the Texas Nov. 6 midterm election.
