Student Council

Student Council provides students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by organizing and implementing monthly, school and community level service projects. Through these service projects, students learn the importance of empathy, altruism, and philanthropy. They learn skills to enhance organization, time management, marketing, and leadership.  To build support and participation, it’s the students’ responsibility to promote their service projects, while serving as role models for their fellow students to encourage the spirit of kindness and benevolence. Promotion includes posters and videos that they design and create and students hold themselves accountable for the projects’ success or failure. Some of the projects include:

  • Student vs. Faculty Basketball game that also features and Spirit Dance-off between student and staff.
