SAN ANTONIO – Join AARP this Sunday for the grand finale of Hispanic Heritage Month at the 'Celebrando con AARP' free event with a day filled with family fun!
There will be food, games, shopping, activities, dancing and live music from some classic local Tejano bands featuring: Chente Barrera, La Tropa F and Michael Salgado.
University Health System will also provide mammograms for women 40 years and older, along with vaccinations and flu shots for adults and children.
"We are very excited to partner with AARP," said Mary Torres, University Health System. "Last year the event was very successful."
All you need to do is bring your family and friends, lawn chairs and dancing shoes and come ready to celebrate with AARP.
Entrance is free for the event, and the first 150 vehicle owners to show their AARP membership card will get free parking.
