CPS Energy Helpful Tip: The Flame on Your Natural Gas Appliances Should be Blue!

"Blue is the color you want to see in the flame of your pilot light," Monica Taylor , CPS Energy Spokesperson, said.

If your natural gas appliance is red, orange and yellow that is a good indication of Carbon monoxide.
Please contact a qualified service representative to inspect your appliances if you see colors besides blue in your natural gas appliances.

"We always want our customers to save money, Taylor said. You want to make sure you seal your windows and doors when it gets colder."
