Aldonza wines and olive oil are the first licensed products by the Tricentennial, which recognizes Spain as the first European country to develop and name San Antonio and reflecting the impact of the Spanish culture on the city, organizers said.

Ambassador Enric Panes is expected to further highlight the city's relationship with Spain with the presentation of an award to former Secretary of State Hope Andrade, organizers said.

Thursday's event will also feature a flamenco guitarist and unveiling of tricentennial label paintings.

The event will take place at Hilton Palacio del Rio, located at El Mirador Ballroom, 22nd floor at 200 S. Alamo St.

San Antonio will mark its 300th anniversary in 2018. For more information, visit sanantonio300.org.
