SAN ANTONIO – The city is 14 months away for its 300th birthday celebration and the Tricentennial Commission announced its first licensed products — wine and oil.
The new 300-branded products are in collaboration with Spanish company Aldonza Gourmet.

Proceeds from the wine’s sales will go toward the commission as part of the tricentennial celebration.
“2018 will be a big year for San Antonio. We’ll be celebrating our 300th birthday all 12 months. We’ll have a lot of opportunity to collaborate, which we’re doing today. And this is an example of an opportunity to collaborate with something very important for San Antonio,” said Edward Benavides, CEO of the Tricentennial Commission.
Benavides said more collaborations could be announced in the coming weeks.
