SAN ANTONIO – The deadline for proposals from community artists and art agencies for pop-up projects during 2018 has been extended until Monday, the city said.
The city announced it was searching for input for the 300 TriArt Program for the 300th anniversary, with hopes of inspiring a diverse range of public art that reflects local culture and history.
The city said all genres of art will be considered for the program and that artists are encouraged to implement their artistic manifestations in non-traditional art venues to highlight unique and creative spaces in San Antonio.
Awards granted through the program range from $1,000 to $20,000, with a total of $300,000 total to support local talent.
