The North East Independent School District is hiring 40 bus drivers with a starting pay rate of $14.50 an hour.
No experience is necessary to apply, North East ISD offers training within its bus driving program.
The transportation department moves 20,000 students to and from 68 campuses every school day, helping one-third of the total student population get to and from school.
Morning shifts start at 6 a.m. and afternoon shifts start at 2 p.m. for NEISD bus drivers
"These drivers are responsible for the children on the buses," said Jack De Forest, executive director of transportation at North East ISD.
