Broner fight moved from MGM Grand to Alamodome

Tickets go on sale Thursday

KSAT 12 Sports has confirmed with former world champion boxer "Jesse" James Leija and promoter Mike Battah that the Broner fight which was originally scheduled to be a PPV fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas has now been moved to the Alamodome.

WBA Welterweight World Champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner will make the first defense of his title in the Alamo City on Dec. 14.

Tickets go on sale Thursday for the event that will be sponsored by Golden Boy Promotions and Leija Battah Promotions.

A press conference, which will be open to the public, will also be held Thursday at the Alamodome with all of the fighters.

The Nov. 30 fight card scheduled at the Freeman Coliseum has now been cancelled.
