Tony Parker out for 2-game road trip

Parker will miss Minnesota, Dallas road games with back injury

San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker (9), of France, drive past Golden State Warriors' Andrew Bogut (12) to score during the first half of an NBA basketball game, Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, in San Antonio.

The Spurs will be without Tony Parker for their upcoming road games against Minnesota and the Mavericks.

Parker underwent an MRI exam Monday in San Antonio which revealed a sprained facet joint on his left side.

Parker left Sunday's win over Memphis in the first quarter after he took some hard falls and was suffering from reported back spasms.

The Spurs play in Minnesota Tuesday night and in Dallas Thursday. The team said he will be listed day-to-day after the Mavs game.
