SAN ANTONIO – For the first time since LeBron James decided to return to Cleveland and take his talents out of South Beach, the Spurs are renewing their acquaintance with King James.
Wednesday night's game is the Spurs' first meeting with LeBron and the Cavs since they broke up the band in Miami by taking the NBA Championship in five games.
Unfortunately for the Spurs, several players for the Silver and Blacksilver-and-black will be sitting out against the Cavs.
Marco Belinelli, with a mild strain in his right groin; Matt Bonner, with a stomach virus; Patty Mills, recovering from a right shoulder surgery; and Tiago Splitter, with tightness in his right calf; are out for Wednesday's contest at Cleveland.
The Spurs (6-4) take on the Cavaliers (5-4) at 6 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena.
