SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs conclude their three game preseason road trip Wednesday when they play the Atlanta Hawks at 7 p.m.
The Spurs, 0-2 thus far this preseason, received their first quality performance from their big free agent signee LaMarcus Aldridge, who versus the Miami Heat scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in just 24 minutes. Tim Duncan in his first preseason action went 7-for-7 from the floor, scoring 14 points in just 19 minutes. He also added six rebounds and two assists.
The Spurs will look to exploit the Hawks' lack of size along the front line using their new-look starting lineup. Their frontcourt depth did take a hit when the Spurs tweeted out yesterday that forward Boris Diaw will not play Wednesday.

The Hawks, who now include former Spurs center Tiago Splitter have started the preseason 2-0. Point guard Jeff Teague is off to a fast start as former Spurs assistant Mike Budenholzer continues to try to emulate the Spurs' style of play.
