SAN ANTONIO – Raider Nation held a rally Saturday afternoon to show it support for the NFL's silver and black.
The Raider nation rally featured fans from across the state, even the country.
"We are just showing that we have a fan base here that will fill the stadium that came from all over Texas just to show the support," said Genaro Meras, president of the Alamo City Raiders Booster Club.
The Oakland Raiders have been linked to several cities since their bid to move to Los Angeles was denied by the NFL. The most recent city mentioned is Las Vegas but most fans at the rally say their first choice would be for them to stay home.
"Personally, I'm a traditionalist I would like to see them stay in Oakland but whatever happens happens. If they do decide to move here, yes, I'm for it. I think that Texas is a wonderful opportunity for them," said fan Henry Gutierrez.
Most fans though say while they support a move to the Alamo City they'll root on the NFL's so called “dark side” where ever they end up.
"The mystique and the lure of the Raiders, the mystique and what we call the dark side. We always had the mentality that there's 32 teams in the NFL and then there's the Oakland Raiders," Gutierrez said.
