Profiles for some of San Antonio's top football recruits

SAN ANTONIO – National Signing Day 2016 is Wednesday and KSAT.com has local fans covered throughout the day. 

KSAT’s RJ Marquez will have a live blog during the day following the biggest recruits across the Alamo City, and update the latest information on local colleges and universities.

Several San Antonio area recruits plan to sign letters of intent to play college football at various universities and colleges. Here's a look at where some of the top recruits are leaning: 

Mark Jackson, Steele DL:

Jackson is a 4-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Jackson recently changed his commitment from Texas A&M to Oklahoma and is the highest rated recruit in the San Antonio area.

Alton Robinson, Judson DE:

Robinson is a 3-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Robinson is verbally committed to Texas A&M and was recruited by Baylor, Cal and Houston among others.

Moses Reynolds, John Jay QB-WR:

Reynolds is a 3-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Reynolds was the quarterback of the Jay Mustangs and is verbally committed to Texas A&M. Reynolds older brother, Josh, is a wide receiver on the Aggies' roster.

Bryson Denley, Steele all-purpose RB:

Denley is a 3-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Denley led Steele's rushing attack this season and plans to join former Steele RB Justin Stockton as a Red Raider. Denley was also recruited by Baylor and Oregon State.

Chance Lytle, Churchill OL: 

Lytle is a 3-star recruit on 247Sports.com and anchored the Churchill offensive line. Lytle is verbally committed to Colorado and also received offers from North Texas and Rice, according to Rivals.com.

Antoine Cox-Wesley, Steele WR:

Cox Wesley is a 3-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Cox-Wesley is verbally committed to Texas Tech along with teammate Bryson Denley. Cox-Wesley was one of the top receivers in the Alamo City last season.

Brandon Smyth, Brandeis LB:

Smyth is a 2-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Smyth led the Broncos defense and recently committed to Air Force over the other service academies and UTSA.

Christian Mallard, Taft RB:

Mallard is a 2-star recruit on Rivals.com. Mallard was one of the top running backs in the city and verbally committed to Air Force over Army, Navy and UTSA.

Billy Honaker, Clemens OL:

Honaker is a 2-star recruit on 247Sports.com and one of the top offensive lineman in the city. Honaker anchored the Clemens line and chose Navy after receiving interest from Arkansas and Baylor.

Elijah Garcia, Stevens DL:

Garcia is a 2-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com. Garcia verbally committed to Rice and head coach, also San Antonio native, David Bailiff. Garcia chose the Owls over UTSA, Air Force and New Mexico State.

Adonis Johnson, Clemens ATH-DB:

Johnson is a 2-star recruit on Rivals.com and part of the Clemens squad that advanced to the fourth round of the state playoffs. Clemens is expected to stay at defensive back for the Falcons.

Richard McNitzky, MacArthur LS-OL:

McNitzky is a 2-star recruit on Rivals and 247Sports.com who verbally committed to play for Stanford due in part to his exceptional long-snapping ability. McNitzky chose the Cardinal over Air Force, Army, New Mexico and UTEP.
