Wednesday was National Signing Day 2016. Several San Antonio area recruits plan to sign letters of intent to play college football at various universities and colleges. Here's are the latest updates from across the Alamo City.

Updated national rankings: Texas moves up to #9, Baylor #17, Texas A&M #18. Just how good is the SEC by the way? A&M is the 8th ranked team in the leagu, 18th overall!
Interesting note: McAllen's Trevor Speights is headed to Stanford along with MacArthur's Richard McNitzky. Speights is one of the most prolific RBs in South Texas history:

Some other takeaways. UT makes a huge jump up the national rankings today. Houston falls a bit after Top 25 class projections.
Baylor, TCU and Oklahoma all stay strong. A&M drops a bit, but their recruiting has reportedly been more strategic.
UTSA and Texas State get solid classes after new coaching hires.
